This year we invite families to join us for Family Faith Formaiton Nights. More information can be found below.
Parents have the greatest ability to teach their children, especially to teach their children the Christian faith.
New this year, each site will have several Family Nights. These nights will be nights of teaching, prayer, and community.
We invite the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins of our students to attend. We want our students to know that our Catholic faith is rooted deeply in the family. All throughout the Gospels, Jesus is constantly in prayer with His Father and teaching about His Father. We also see the deep love Jesus had for His mother, Mary.
Each family night will consist of prayer. We will have Eucharistic Adoration. Adoration is when we worship Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Though in the appearance of bread, a simple host, we beleive Jesus is truly present. There is no greater place (besides the mass) for the family to be!
We will also have a teaching on some key belief of our faith. Our priests will lead the teaching and present it on a level fit for our littlest grades and still challenge our parents. Faith formation does not stop after 8th grade. Adults, most of all, need to continue learning and growing in their faith. These nights give the parents the opportunity to learn with their children.
